A planning consultation has opened on the construction of a new council building that could be up to 9 storeys tall. The deadline for submitting your views on this planning application is Tuesday 4th August 2015.

SITE: Plot 8, Lanacre Avenue, Colindale, NW9

PROPOSAL: Construction of a new council office building between 4 and 9 storeys in height providing 10,777sqm of floorspace comprising 8,361sqm of (B1) office space and 158sqm of (A1) cafe and ancillary space on ground floor. Provision of landscaping and public realm improvements, car and cycle parking and refuse and recycling stores.

A planning application has been submitted to Barnet Council for the above development. You can submit comments using the website if you want to. The website contains a guide on how to comment on planning applications.

If you do not want to comment using the website, you can also email or write to us. Any comments must be received in writing by Date: 4th August 2015 if you want us to consider them. Please include your name, address, daytime telephone number and, where available, email address in all correspondence and quote reference 15/04039/FUL. Any comments received will form part of the public planning register.

Should this application go before a committee, members of the public may address that committee, subject to certain conditions. If you want to address the committee, or be notified if the application will go before a committee, you must state clearly Request to Speak at the Planning Committee in bold at the top of the correspondence. We will then let you know about the meeting and about the rules for speaking to it. Most applications do not reach committee but are considered by officers who will review your written comments.
