Revised Planning Application For Plot A8

The submissions deadline for this planning application has now passed

Further to our previous news item, the planning application for Plot A8 of the Grahame Park regeneration has now reached the public consultation stage. SITE: Development Plot A8 (Grahame Park Estate Regeneration), Lanacre Avenue, Colindale, NW9
PROPOSAL: Revised application for development of plot A8 consisting of a 5 storey building comprising a 5,536sqm college, 500sqm public library and 500sqm centre for independent learning (all use Class D1); associated vehicle access, parking, landscaping, refuse and cycle storage (this is an amended proposal for the whole of this development plot, being proposed instead of the reserved matters approval reference H/00308/11 dated 21/02/2012 for 157 flats, a 750sqm public library, 750sqm centre for independent learning and 279sqm of retail floorspace.

A planning application has been submitted to Barnet Council for the above development. We would like to hear your views on the proposal so they can be taken into account when the decision is made. The application can be viewed at the locations and times set out in the attached “A Guide on How to Comment on Planning Applications”.

Comments you wish to make on the application (online or by post) must be received in writing by 09 May 2014 in order to be considered when determining the application and will form part of the public planning register: for more information see attached guide. You are strongly advised to submit your comments online at Alternatively please quote the application reference H/00320/14 in any correspondence, including your name, address, daytime phone number and email address.

Should this application be required to go before a committee, members of the public may speak at the meeting, subject to certain rules. If you wish to speak to the committee, YOU MUST STATE CLEARLY IN BOLD AT THE TOP OF YOUR CORRESPONDENCE: ‘REQUEST TO SPEAK AT THE PLANNING COMMITTEE’.
